This year's event will take place on Saturday 21st April 2018 in association with the Stroke Association on the ground floor of the Galleries Shopping Centre Bristol.

This is the 14th year that Rotary Club of Bristol has run the event.

Working with the Stroke association Rotary has run more than 250 such eventsin the UK each year.

Last year in Bristol a team of volunteers , including nurses and Rotarians, checked 175 people’s blood pressure during the day with 5 identified as needing an urgent referral to their GP and another 55 recommended to have a further check within four weeks. Happily this year we found no one who needed hospital referral as had happened in previous years.
