Following a rapid decision taken on Thursday 14th January to help victims of the Haiti Earthquake, on Saturday 16^th January 2010, 60 Rotarians from 10 local Clubs “answered the call” to collect for the victims in Broadmead and Cabot Circus. 

Saturday shoppers in Broadmead and Cabot Circus donated a magnificent £7,000 to the Rotarians who were collecting for the Red Cross Haiti Earthquake DEC Appeal. 

Rotarians around Bristol have a tradition of “answering the call” and of motivating members on such occasions and on December 29^th 2004, and in 2005, a similar number of Rotarians turned out to collect for the Tsunami and Asian Earthquake Appeals.
