Rotary’s “year” runs from July to June with a new President being elected for each year. Norman Fayers became President of the club for 2008/09 on 30^th June having been Senior Vice President for the previous year.
At a Club Meeting on 7 July 08, Norman, in his Address to the Club, outlined his main plans for the forthcoming year which are as follows:

Run for the Future

To be held for the third year on Sunday 7 September 2008 on Bristol Downs.

In support of Prostate Cancer research and care at Bristol Urological Institute.

The previous two year events have raised over £100,000.

THE JESSIE MAY TRUST - the locally based charity providing specialist respite-nursing care for families with a terminally ill child.
