Dudley Lewis became the new President of the Bristol Rotary club on 28^th iJune for the 2009/2010 year.

At his first meeting in July President Dudley presented his plans the following plans for the year.

4th RUN FOR THE FUTURE (Prostate Cancer Awareness and Fund-Raising Event)

20^th September 2009 - on Bristol Durdham Downs

47^th SENIOR CITIZEN’S CHARITY CONCERT

11th October 2009 - at the Colston Hall

INTERNATIONAL COMMITTEE FUND-RAISING NIGHT FOR NEPAL

26^th February 2010 - A 3 course Dinner at the  REDWOOD LODGE with entertainment by the Three Men’s Company (Three men and a piano).

CHARITIES TO BE SUPPORTED BY FUND RAISING EVENTS

Water Survival Boxes – an international charity, working with local partners, enabling the world’s poorest people to gain access to safe water, sanitation and hygiene education.

Nepal Projects –To work with the Clifton Club  to build a much-needed secondary school at the village of Bhoomeshor in West Nepal. To raise funds for a water supply to a remote village, Kolma, again in West Nepal.
