We provide many services to our local community and a few examples are shown below:
MENTORING
Our members, who have a wealth of experience in the private and public sectors, provide a mentoring and support service to pupils at The City Academy Bristol.
MOCK INTERVIEWS
To assist pupils who are searching for jobs, we provide mock interviews at a number of Secondary Schools in the Bristol area.
KIDS DAY OUT—JUNE
We take part in this event which takes over 50 disadvantaged and disabled children on a day out visit. In recent years we visited Bristol Zoo which is always a popular attraction.
We support this important initiative for our children, giving them practical advice on health and drug education. The Centre, which uses a specially equipped bus and Educator, visits about 60 schools each year in our area, involving about 12,000 children.
