The zoom meeting this evening is an edited version of a presentation given recently by the British Ambassador to Lebanon, with an introduction from PDG Chris Firth.
The presentation is in support of a Global Grant being applied to provide education inbasic for computer coding technology to secondary school pupils across Lebanon. It is based on a pioneer programme from the Lebanese Coder-Maker Charity & is designed to provide the expertise & equipment for computing & coding.
The project aims to support 10,000 students 15 selected schools across Lebanon using one school as a leading hub linking with other schools.
The project is part of the restructuring & rehabilitation of the communities in Beirut & the rest of Lebanon, Rotary is one of the few organisations trusted to make an impact.
