Chris Derrick & Helen Davis are members of The Bristol & West Athletics Club and have, together, run many races. The Penang Bridge International Marathon in Malaysia was their toughest challenge yet.

With temperatures of 26 and humidity of 87% they were very pleased to finish the race in just 4hrs 21mins. Helen finished 39th female out of 580 & 264 overall out of 3351. They were raising funds for The Macular Society.

At the club we look forward to hearing all about the adventure in the New Year at our meeting on Monday January 6th 2020.
