I joined Rotary almost three years ago because I wanted to get involved in something that genuinely makes a difference. I’d been looking for meaningful ways to volunteer and support local projects, and Rotary offered a great way to do exactly that.

What I’ve enjoyed most is how many different ways there are to get involved. Whether it’s helping with fundraising, taking part in hands-on volunteering, or supporting local charities, there’s always something useful to do, and it’s rewarding to see how even small contributions can have a real impact.

I also quickly realised how friendly and encouraging the club is. It’s a really good mix of people, all bringing their own experience and enthusiasm. That shared sense of purpose is something I really appreciate, and it’s a big part of what makes Rotary so fulfilling for me.
