Rotary’s End Polio Now campaign is one of the most remarkable humanitarian achievements of our time. Since launching the Global Polio Eradication Initiative in 1985, Rotary members have helped reduce polio cases by 99.9% worldwide, delivering vaccines to billions of children, raising over $2.1 billion, and tirelessly advocating for government and global health support. What began as an ambitious vision has become a near-complete triumph of compassion, persistence, and international cooperation. Rotary’s leadership has not only protected generations of children from paralysis and death, but has also built the global infrastructure that now underpins disease surveillance, outbreak response, and broader public-health efforts worldwide. For the eradication of Polio Rotary is in partnership with the Gates Foundation so for every $1 Rotary raises they add $2. This means every $1 we raise turns into $3.

We have supported the Meadow Vale Community Centre over the last 10 years in a variety of ways. This centre is located in a poor multiethnic area called Speedwell (East Bristol).
